Plasma Enhancer® is an additional series of video processor that is specially designed for the home theatre
enthusiasts and experts. The series has been developed to provide high performance video processing and scaling to
enhance picture quality of Plasma TVs, LCD TVs and RPTVs
There are two models available, Plasma Enhancer® 1000 and Plasma Enhancer® 1000 Pro.

DCDi™ and TrueLife™, the winning technologies of the Genesis Microchip’s Emmy award, are employed to provide impressive de-interlaced processing and outstanding picture quality.

MK5™ high quality analog tuner
Plasma Enhancer™ series video processors are equipped with the latest Philips 5th
generation high quality analog TV tuner MK5. Boasting a best-in-class
noise figure of less than 5dB throughout the frequency range,
and with improved selectivity, Plasma Enhancer™ offers crystal
clear analog TV reception quality. NICAM audio decoding is
included in the multi-Europe version.
Off-Air-Noise-Terminator™
The motion adaptive noise reduction algorithm is to reduce the video noise of the off-air-material.
Broadcast TV programs now become more enjoyable.
Spouse Friendly™ remote control
The uniqueness of the Plasma Enhancer series is that each Plasma Enhancer™ comes with with two different remotes that gives you a
hassle free option from sharing a remote control between you and your family members.
TV Commander™
Another distinctive feature is that the Plasma Enhancer is the only scaler which can learn the common infrared remote control signals of your TV (power, volume
up/down, switching AV inputs), and control your TV through Plasma Enhancer remote control. Now you can control your the scaler and the TV with a single control
