What is Magic TV™
Magic TV™ is a digital terrestrial HDTV receiver capable of receiving all the digital High Definition and Standard Definition TV services. Simply connect your aerial to Magic TV™ and then connect Magic TV™ to your HDTV and start enjoying the most beautiful broadcast video you've ever seen.

Receive Live news and weather feeds from the internet direct to the Magic TV™ interface from RTHK, the Hong Kong Observatory and more. Just connect Magic TV™ to your home network or broadband router.
Adaptable Aspect Ratio
Supports 16:10 for PC monitors as well as the more usual 4:3 and 16:9 modes for normal and widescreen TVs.

Already having full MHEG-5 Interactive TV services support

Recording on Magic TV™ Receivers
In order to provide more flexibility, Magic TV™ MTV3100 doesn't come with an internal Hard Disk Drive. Simply attach an external USB Hard Disk Drive (3.5" drive with it's own power supply is recommended) to one of the USB ports and turn MTV3100 into a powerful PVR with the following suite of Magic TV™ recording features.
High capacity lossless recording
Magic TV™ records the original broadcast
stream, avoiding recompression and delivering the highest
quality possible. Attach a 500GB HDD to recording up to
180 hours!
Simultaneously record 2 channels and even watch a 3rd channel, providing that all 3 channels are broadcast on the same UHF frequency.

One-touch recording
Setting a recording from the 7-day EPG couldn't be easier. Simply highlight your chosen programme and press the record button.
Pause Live TV
Phone ringing? Someone at the door? Don't want to miss a thing? Simply pause Live TV and catch up at your leisure.
Repeat Recording
Choose 'Repeat Record' to record the
same time slot daily, weekly or even Monday to Friday.
Edit recordings
Add bookmarks to recordings and skip between them, or trim out whole sections of unwanted footage to save time and disk space.
Organise your recordings
A folder system allows you to organise and find recordings quickly. Simply find a programme and send it to the desired folder. The recording will still be displayed in the 'All Programmes' list so that you easily keep track.

Select multiple recordings for continuous playback, or playback all recordings in a folder
